Submissions

Connor Court Publishing accepts unsolicited submissions.

All submissions will be reviewed carefully. If your proposal is successful, we will contact you directly. Due to the high volume of submissions, we are unable to respond individually to all proposals. If you have not heard from us within 90 days, please assume that your submission has not been successful.

Please note that materials sent without a self-addressed stamped envelope cannot be returned.

At present, we only publish books in English.

What to Include

Your submission should include the following:

1. Curriculum Vitae / Resume
Please include your CV or resume.
If you are proposing a contributed volume, include affiliations and brief resumes for each contributor, as well as your own CV.

2. Book Prospectus

The prospectus should include:

  • A description of the book

  • What makes the book unique and why you are qualified to write it

  • An analysis of competing or similar books (including publishers and publication dates)

  • A description of the target audience (e.g., undergraduate students, graduate students, scholars, professionals)

  • Details of any material that has been previously published, including where and when

  • The names of other publishers to whom the proposal has been submitted (if applicable)

  • The expected length of the manuscript or a word count. 

  • If the manuscript is not yet complete, an estimated completion date

3. Marketing Plan
Please include a brief outline explaining how the book could be marketed.

4. Detailed Table of Contents

5. Sample Chapters
Please include one or two sample chapters. If available, you may also include the introduction or overview.


Important

Please do not send the full manuscript with your initial submission. If we wish to review the complete manuscript, we will contact you.

Once we receive your submission, it will be assessed internally. If it is considered suitable, it will be tabled at a Connor Court editorial board meeting for discussion. Following this meeting, we will contact you if your proposal is successful.
