Guy Manuell

My employment revolved around finance in a wide range of activities. This included the Reserve Bank of Australia, commercial and investment banks in foreign exchange, corporate treasurer roles in New Zealand and Australia, owning an independent treasury advisory business and financial regulation at the Australian Securities & Investments Commission. I authored the university textbook Floating Down Under: Foreign Exchange in Australia in 1986.

My academic qualifications are a BA in Economics (Macquarie University), MCom (University of New South Wales), LLM (JD) (Monash University) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. Reflecting my longstanding interest in earliest Christianity, I gained an MA in Early Christian and Jewish Studies from Macquarie University in 2000. Now retired from active employment, I have more time to undertake research and writing on biblical themes.

I live in Melbourne, Australia with my wife, Bernice. We have three adult children and attend Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Doncaster. I am a keen fan of Australian Rules Football and US college basketball.
